Haha, generally I don’t visit the doctor when I’m sick.. Just self medicate or sleep more or fast lightly. I’m a self employed and haven’t had the joy of having my bills paid by companies before lol!

My MOE $20 subsidy is actually not great. But it’s still better than nothing. Now that I really have nothing, I am more careful of my health as well. I may consider getting CHAS when I qualify for it (soon).

Go for swimming often. Use the sgactive initial $100 to buy the tickets to pool. I try to swim 3 times per week and my health improve alot.

Thank you for your kind advice. I play badminton 4x each week, perspires a lot each time, eat relatively healthily, but still fell sick. But maybe 小病是福,大病是祸. So must still count my blessings 🙂

Retired for almost 10 months 🙂 I am going back to work soon I believe. But I can choose to do anything I feel like doing 🙂 I guess that’s the crux of FI 🙂

Thank you. If I have only 9 months, I think I would not pay more to extend. Will just want to live the best 9 months ever 🙂 but who knows really till we actually experience it. The contemplation of death always gives a grounded perspective to life 🙂
